9 volunteer St Nicolatains launched this non-profit making association « Solé Petuis » on April, 6th, 1963

'Solé Petuis" means: "Sun for everyone" in patois

It facilitates the participation of the inhabitants to social and cultural actions in the village:

Being the voice of the inhabitants

Puts the association in the position of a recognised representative at various levels in the public sphere
Enables the inhabitants to have their say and to play their part in the promotion and the harmonious development of the village and its surroundings
Gives them the opportunity of contributing to the various cultural and leisure activities .They are also direct actors in the preservation of the village heritage.
